Ghostbusters

Ghostbusters

Ghostbusters (titled on screen as Ghost Busters) is a 1984 sci-fi horror comedy film about 3 parapsychologists who are fired from Columbia University in New York and start up their own business investigating and eliminating ghosts. It was the second-best grossing movie of 1984 and was followed by a sequel, Ghostbusters II (1989), and 2 animated TV series, The Real Ghostbusters and Extreme Ghostbusters. The films sparked the catchphrases "Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters!" and "I ain't 'fraid of no ghost," both from the hit theme song written and performed by Ray Parker, Jr.
